My Top 5 Tips To Staying Healthy & Happy

The New Year is here which usually means we have set ourselves some New Years Resolutions, I don't bother as I normally don't break them I normally forget what I made. Here are my top 5 tips that I do all year round and I think it is much easier to stick with something if it becomes a habit.
- Get out in the fresh air
I love to be outside, whether it is raining, snowing, windy or beautiful sunshine I am out walking. I love the fresh air and think it makes a huge difference to your mood and your health.
- Sleep.
I understand sometimes a good night sleep is out of your hands (I'm not sure how you parents do it), but a good nights sleep is priceless. While you're sleeping your body is repairing itself.
- Drink more Water
For those who know me, you will always see me with a bottle of water, If I'm carrying a bottle around with me I am more likely to drink it. So have a bottle handy to remind yourself.
- Exercise/Stretch
Staying active and stretching is not only good for the body but for the mind too.
- Have fun
Do what makes you happy. Whether that is reading, writing, cooking or a sport. Just DO IT!!!! No excuses.
